Memory Links Golf Classic
Silent Auction Rules

In order to bid in an auction, you must first become registered on the website. On every item in an auction, a minimum bid and minimum increase (also called “bid increment”) is set by our system. Online bids will be accepted until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7.
The auction items will then be set up at the Memory Links Golf Classic on Friday, May 9 to complete the silent auction. Final bidding on the items will end at 6 p.m. at the Golf Classic.

A maximum bid, or a proxy bid, may be placed when bidding on an item. This is confidential and will be used by our system to increase your bid automatically in case another bidder outbids you. If you place a proxy bid, we will only bid high enough to outbid the current high-bidder, according to the minimum bid increment (increase).

Proxy bids are effective both during the online bidding period and at the event. This allows the system to bid on your behalf so you don’t have to constantly monitor an auction or physically be at the golf classic.

The winning bid is the highest bid entered on the bid sheet or submitted in a proxy bid. In the event of identical bids, the earliest will take precedence. The person acknowledged as the highest bidder shall be the purchaser. Winners will be notified by phone or in person at the golf classic.

All sales are final and subject to the terms and conditions stipulated by the donors (if there are any, they will be indicated in the description of the item). There will be no exchanges or refunds on items. Additionally, the purchaser will be responsible for the transport of any of the items from the auction.

If you have questions, please contact Misty Brown at misty.brown@alz.org or 865.544.6288. Good luck and thank you for your support!
